A little bit of History
The first computer that was invented was back in the early 1800's by Charles Babbage, who was also known as the "Father of Computers." Back in the old days, computers were as big as one room, and they did not have a lot of memory or speed. Today, our technology has improved so well, we have many different types of computers (Laptops, Tablets, etc..) that are portable and can help us in many ways. For example, we can play games, calculate problems, talk to people online, and countless more!
The Importance of Computers
So what's the big deal? Computers are important and a very useful device in our lives. It helps reduce the amount of work that we as normal humans have to do, and computers make our work so much more easier with just a click of a button! For example, your computer can calculate and do your banking, instead of you having to go your bank and set things up. Computers changed the way we accomplish different things we do everyday. We do not write letters to our friends and family, but we just send a quick e-mail or instant message. In conclusion, computers are valuable and a great device to own, so get out there and buy a computer!
